resource packs
Many of our media projects are distributed with accompanying resource packs and educational/outreach tool kits. Our primary aim in producing these educational packages is to communicate and explore the issues highlighted in the media stories for use in community organisations, unions, schools, workplaces and with other interested stakeholders.
In collaboration with our NGO partners, we work with the media as a starting point and use companion support documents drawing on relevant statistics, resource lists and curriculum guides. Outreach packages are designed to deepen the discussion on immigration and integration in order to present a more complete picture, breaking down popular stereotypes often perpetuated by the dominant media.
