We regularly run workshops in FOMACS for our partner organisations:
from media production, to media spokesperson and advocacy skills training. The workshop
format allows for a diverse community of learners to converge and
share/exchange knowledge and practical skills.
Our media spokesperson, advocacy and strategy workshops are lead by collaborating partner, Frank Sharry, Executive Director of America’s Voice, Washington, DC.
The digital storytelling workshops, which were run over the course of two years culminated in a train-the-trainer workshop lead by trainers from the Centre for Digital Storytelling, Berkeley.
Our workshops provide a way of linking up with international initiatives, creating a comparative learning environment and a sustainable knowledge base for our partnership structure and other interested networks.
